I loved that it was only about a 15-minute stroll to the stunning parma cathedral and less than a 5-minute walk to pizzeria l'isola del gusto, making it super easy to explore the city's historic sites and grab a bite on the go. the staff were nice and spoke english, which made my solo trip feel very welcoming.

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony! 🌞 Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't effective, making it super warm at times. Overall, a nice stay just outside the city center!

The Twin Room with Balcony impressed me with its modern decor and comfortable bedding. The large balcony offered a pleasant outdoor space, though the high walls limited the view, making it feel a bit enclosed. The restaurant served a fantastic breakfast for just 5€, with local specialties that were delicious. The staff were mostly helpful despite one unfortunate experience during check-in, where communication was a struggle. the employee was dismissive about a payment issue. Nevertheless, the rest of the staff seemed eager to assist. The location, about a mile from central Parma, is convenient if you have a car, although it would be nice to have more restaurants within walking distance. I also enjoyed the small pool area, perfect for a quick dip after a day of exploring. Overall, my stay was mostly positive, but the service quality definitely needs some attention.

The breakfast buffet was a good showcase of local products, especially the prosciutto and cheese. I loved lounging on the spacious terrace, even though the view was a bit limited. The dinner menu had the best local cuisine I've tasted, and it's no surprise we dined there for three nights straight!

Had a fantastic group trip! We walked to the city center, which was about a mile. it was an easy stroll. The breakfast spread was delicious, and dinner at the hotel was impressive too. Our room was spacious, and the AC worked perfectly! Be sure to check out the local food tour and the museum for a true taste of history.

One downside was the limited view from the balcony. It felt a bit enclosed, which wasn't ideal for relaxing outside.

best western was an excellent choice! the room was super clean, and the outdoor pool with whirlpool was perfect for relaxing. we loved the friendly breakfast staff who made each morning enjoyable. also, it’s just a short drive to the town center with convenient parking available.
